Excellence does not exist without responsibility. In our atelier, master artisans work within a local and carefully controlled production that ensures the highest standards of quality and impeccable attention to detail.
Producing locally allows us to maintain absolute control at every stage, reduce unnecessary transport, and support a community where leatherwork is not just a craft, but a heritage passed down from generation to generation.
More than accessories, our pieces are symbols of a different way of creating and consuming: with respect for tradition, commitment to community, and responsibility towards the future.
At FOTIÁ, we understand our work as more than just creating objects. It's a project built on a way of doing things: with respect for people, materials, and the time it takes to create something well made.
We believe that excellence does not exist without responsibility.
That's why we work alongside master artisans in Ubrique, Spain, where leatherwork is a craft passed down through generations. Each piece is made within a local and carefully supervised production process, maintaining a mindful pace of work, far removed from the logic of mass production.
We select each hide based on its proximity, traceability, and quality control. We also collaborate with European tanneries that operate under REACH regulations and are certified by the Leather Working Group, guaranteeing regulated and responsible processes.
For us, sustainability also means creating pieces that deserve to last: objects designed to be used every day, age gracefully, and accompany the life of the person who wears them.
